How to clean a dustpan and brush
Even cleaning equipment needs a good wash from time to time! Dustpans should be wiped with a cloth, after being sprayed with either some all-purpose cleaning solution, or a few drops of vinegar. Dustpans tend to accumulate dirt in the corners, so it’s best to be vigilant and don’t forget the handle either.
Brushes can be cleaned most effectively after a decent amount of time to soak. Use hot, soapy water to loosen any dust and dirt – you can use a quick squirt of washing up liquid if you don’t have any other cleaning chemicals to hand.
